Nurses MUST put on their own oxygen mask first!
Our expert team of nurses know how to engage the nursing and medical staff to participate in wellness breaks in realtime. Research shows happier nurses have happier and healthier patients!
We teach the nurses how to keep their cup FULL to bring their self-care practices to work.
A new vision of treating the biggest workforce — the nurses — with value and appreciation, by a new means of support, mentorship, and empowerment.
2024 Press Ganey data scores concluded: we need to find ways to KEEP NURSES HAPPY AND ENGAGED in their job. At Wellness Connections, we know how!
Cut the short-sighted ‘budget-cuts’— INVEST in your nurses! Nurses want a growth mindset, a personal sense of purpose, and a feeling of belonging. Caring and empowerment together create a more unified staff who are engaged in thriving workplace.
Let us show you how to create a new culture ~ THEN, your staff will take it over after the completion of the 3-month program.
Our Approach
the greatest form of self-care is self-love
Our expert nurses share the latest science and research of various modalities of self-care and mindfulness. Skilled at connecting with nurses , they are able to highlight the grounded research and demonstrate a practice of self-care as a means to decrease our stress —supported and encouraged by the leadership.
Our team continually reinforces the positive effects of mindfulness and resiliency, hoping to spark an interest and desire to make a new change in their self-care routine.
These practices can teach you to see the good in yourself and in your world as well as the ability to feel joy in your life everyday. Despite the demands of the job, keeping your cup FULL status, can propel you forward by CARING for others. Self-care teaches us self-love, with a rippling effect.
supportive leadership
Nursing is a unique profession where you have the profound opportunity of care for others. The gift of caring is both rewarding as well as demanding, requiring empathy, compassion and resilience. By nurturing your self, you can continue to give effectivly and sustaninably.
AS leaders, nurturing your staff, or allowing them to nurture themselves, can empower them to be present and engaged while providing the highest quality of care to those who need it, their patients and colleagues.
A new thriving workplace with engaged nurses
Through our model of training nurses to keep their cup FULL with positive self-care measures (ie. sleep, nutrition, hydration, exercise, mindfulness, resiliency, reflection, and cognitive restructuring, etc) we have seen positive data reflecting nurses with less stress, less anxiety and less pain.
In a supportive environemnt, nurses can learn to thrive in their workplace setting when they have learned how to put on their own oxygen mask first, also known as self-love. Here, we gain clarity of focus, insight, wisdom, and have the ability to see gratitude in life and in others (ie. colleagues and patients) when practicing self-care.
These practices can teach you to see the good in yourself and in your world as well as the ability to feel joy in your life everyday. Despite the demands of the job, you can use your FULL cup status to propel you forward by really CARING for others.
