The Practice

The practice of self-care means knowing the power and criticality of your actions and healthy lifestyle behaviors: sleep is when your body is healing and recovering; nutrition fuels our bodies; cognitive restructuring or reappraisal, allows one to understand the positive to what one typically might view as negative; social connection with others is vital to your well-being; mindfulness practices, teaches oneself to be compassionate through self-compassion. Self-care is not only the traditional behaviors typically associated with what our fingers, feet, and our forks do, but rather, IT IS THE WAY WE SPEAK TO OURSELVES when we are challenged or stressed!

Our Services

 

1:1 COACHING

I will work with you one-on-one to identify goals and develop an individualized plan specific to you, based upon a review of the many areas of your life. Typically, follow up meetings are scheduled every two weeks allowing ample time for you to work towards your goals, so that you are successful in reaching your individual goals in your pursuit of happiness. Sessions can be done in-person or virtually.

REIKI

Reiki is a touch therapy that aids in moving energy which may be blocked promoting more balance in one’s body and allowing for self healing. Pain and disease are manifestations of blocked energy. Reiki has reported effects on decreasing stress and pain and enhancing relaxation, well-being, and wound healing, etc. Reiki can be done in person, or can be done at a distance, called distance Reiki.

WORKPLACE WELLNESS PROGRAMS

We offer wellness sessions for staff consisting of sharing the science and research of various modalities of stress reduction, mindfulness, and self-care. Focusing on relaxation and mindfulness allows for staff to have more ease and focus as well as the longterm effects of have improved morale, enhanced vitality, and empowerment. These programs offer both a short term solution to daily stress of the job and a long term solution for work-life balance.
